Is my Google Ads conversion tracking right?

If Google counts your sales wrong, your money goes the wrong way.

Google's ads chase whatever Google counts as a sale. If the counting is wrong, even the smartest bidding strategy chases the wrong customers. adall checks your account's conversion settings, shows the problems in plain words and fixes the safe ones in one click.

01 / Why it matters

Why conversion settings matter so much

If one sale is counted twice, Google thinks your ads work better than they do and spends more. If the primary goal is wrong (a page view, say), Google goes after people who click rather than people who buy. If auto-tagging is off, sales don't match up with ads. These mistakes sit quietly inside the account; adall finds them and makes them visible.

Example
  • Auto-tagging on
  • Sales as the primary goal
  • No double counting
  • Recording conversions

02 / How it works

How it works

  1. Step 1

    See the warning

If setup is missing, an orange warning at the top of the home page says Google isn't counting your sales right yet.

  2. Step 2

    Read the problems

For each ad account you see how many problems there are and how many adall can fix.

  3. Step 3

    Apply the safe fixes

One click. If needed, adall also sets up its own conversion actions in Google.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the remaining steps

What only you can do (accepting a term in Google Ads, say) is explained step by step. When it's done, you see a green check.

03 / What you get

What you get

  • Finds double counting

Flags conversion actions that count the same sale twice and wrong counting settings.

  • The right goal

Checks that sales are the primary goal and that auto-tagging is on.

  • Validated first

Each fix is first tried in Google's validation mode; if Google refuses, nothing changes in your account and the reason is shown.

  • A clear status

When setup is complete, the home page shows a green line: Google counts your sales right.

04 / Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is conversion tracking?

The setting that tells Google whether someone who clicked your ad did something valuable on your site, such as buying. Google bids based on it.

Does adall touch my site's code?

No. adall only reads the settings in your Google Ads account through the official API and fixes them with your approval. If code needs adding to your site, it explains what to do.

Can a fix break something?

adall applies in one click only the fixes marked safe, and validates each one first. Every change is recorded.

I don't use Google Analytics. Is that a problem?

No. The check looks at the conversion actions in your Google Ads account; if setup is missing, adall offers to set up its own conversion actions in Google.
