How to add negative keywords
Stop paying for searches that never sell.
Your ad shows for hundreds of searches that resemble your keywords. Some never bring a sale, yet every click on them costs money. adall reviews your search terms, finds the wasted ones and blocks them.
01 / Why it matters
The quietest source of waste
Searches like "free", "second hand", "how to" or a competitor's name may not fit your business. With broad match Google finds them close to your keyword and shows your ad. Reading the search terms report regularly takes time; in most accounts this waste piles up for months.
02 / How it works
How it works
Step 1
Reads your search terms
adall reviews the searches that triggered your ad, with their spend and sales.
Step 2
Finds the waste
It picks out searches that cost money and bring no sales, or don't fit your business.
Step 3
Blocks or asks
Depending on your mode, it adds them to a shared negative list or offers them as a suggestion.
03 / What you get
What you get
One list, every campaign
Blocked searches sit in one shared list; new campaigns pick it up automatically.
One-click undo
Keyword changes are recorded and undone in one click.
Careful with thin data
No snap decision on a search with a couple of clicks; it waits for enough data.
Checked daily
adall checks your account every morning, so new wasted searches are caught before they pile up.
04 / Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What is a negative keyword?
A word that tells Google which searches you don't want your ad shown for. If you sell new products, for example, you may want to block "second hand" searches.
What if it blocks the wrong search?
Every block is written in the change history with its reason and undone in one click. You can also run adall in suggestion-only mode.
At what level are searches blocked?
adall creates one shared negative list in your account, called "adall · negatifler", and attaches it to every running Search and Performance Max campaign, new ones included. A search blocked once is blocked everywhere.
Do I need another tool for this?
No. adall connects to Google Ads through the official API; no extra software or code is needed.
No ad know-how needed to try it.
